Right off the top I can tell I’m going to need to work to steer this clear of some sort of pulp conspiracy thriller pseudo drama.

Title phrase inspired by a line of dialogue in Perry Mason the case of the careless kitten approximately 33 minutes in.
(Some other possible inspirations in the case of the prudent prosecutor in the first 12 minutes or so including a reference to a female figure skater spinning around in lights as well as an earlier reference to swimming in champagne – so it kind of hooks up.)
